VOLTA 2.0 TOP HANDLE
Machined from aircraft grade 7075 Aluminium using high precision 5 axis milling, the Volta 2.0 top handle is designed to improve the functionality and ergonomics of your rig by combining a large capacity removable battery inside a minimalist handle.
It features three outputs (2x 7.2V D-tap & 5V USB C 3A) which can be used simultaneously, offering you the freedom to set up your rig just the way you like it. It can power your camera, monitor, focus motor, wireless video transmitter, audio receiver or even your phone without the need for cumbersome splitters or adapters.
Since we can't agree on which is the better mounting option. Why not... have both?
The modular design allows you to choose between the cold shoe mount which is compatible with most cameras (and Tilta cages) or the Nato rail mount which makes installing and uninstalling the handle a breeze. And the best part? Both are included in the box.
For those situations where mounting points on the handle are a must-have, there are two options included. The 15 mm mount which uses a robust, one piece design and the new and improved monitor mount. Both of them can be used simultaneously.
Powered by the increasingly more common USB-C PD protocol, the Snapcharger™ does not only provide incredibly fast charging speeds, but it can do it with your laptop adapter.
We figured some of you had the unpleasant experience of having to rush production due to dying camera batteries and forgot to bring the chargers on set, or that the chargers themselves are painfully slow and can't keep up. Well, you can now rest assured since at least someone from your team will have a MacBook (or any other USB-c laptop) with them. You can borrow their adapter and get back to recording in little to no time.
Expect a full charge of both Volta 36™ batteries in less than two hours.
Did we mention you can link and charge up to 4 units (8x Volta 36™ batteries) with just one adapter? They magnetically connect and intelligently split the power.
Your charger ... is also a battery.
It replaces your V-mount battery and power bank, allowing you to power traditional 14V cinema cameras and devices, such as the Alexa and Red's DSMC2 line, along with a plethora of other devices (lights, video assists etc.), including your laptop (using the USB-c PD port).
Unlike traditional V-mount batteries, the SnapCharger™ doesn't require an additional cheese plate for those who are adapting the batteries to non V-mount powered cameras. Just use the included 15mm rod mount to attach it to your rig.
The modularity is also present in the design of the SnapCharger™, giving you the option between the 15mm Rod mount or the V-mount 14V plate.

Both the Volta 2.0 handle and the Snapcharger™ are powered by the new and improved Volta 36™ battery, which is extremely light and efficient, allowing you to pack small and focus more on the creative process.
With the introduction of the Model 3, Tesla needed to improve the battery technology in order to achieve a longer range and higher performing vehicle with a longer lasting lifetime. They created the 21700 cell which was a perfect fit not only for the EV world, but also for the film-making world, where batteries are just as important for a seamless on-set experience. We were the first to adopt the 21700 cells back in august and we've been exclusively using them since.
With this project we are fully unlocking the capabilities of the cells with a higher output (42W for the handle and 84W for the SnapCharger™) and industry leading charging speeds.
The Dummy Emergency Pack
We've gone back to the drawing board and redesigned the 6 most popular dummy batteries used for video work. They feature premium materials and short circuit / over and under voltage protection, ensuring safe operation no matter how extreme the environment is. The implementation of low resistance cables ensures the optimal runtime when in combinations with our products.
The 6 dummies come bundled together in the Dummy Emergency Pack with 3 different length cables (S - 15cm, M - 30cm, L - 45cm) to ensure you always have the appropriate power solution with you.
In order to ensure a seamless experience, we have decided to include all of the accessories in the 2.0 KIT. We'll also make sure to have the units charged and ready to go. After purchase, make sure to pick your dummy battery adapter from the add-on tab.
