The MUC (Multilateral Frequency Used Communication System) is a system built on the well known communication technology behind walkie-talkies. Compared to the Node(B/T) Network which is typically used in other helmet communication devices, the MUC system allows for uninterrupted long range communication from 1.2mi(2km) up to 3.1mi(5km).
Best of all, we’ve made sure that an unlimited number of users can be active in the group call without having to go through a complicated pairing process.The MUC is an area-based system of communication with a strong connection levels regardless of the number of users.On the other hand, with Node (B/T) Network, the larger the distance between each user, the more unstable the connection.
The MUC system is less susceptible to distortion or interference from environmental obstacles so that strong connections can be upheld even in dense urban areas.The HEADTOOTH Pro isn’t limited to just motorcycle enthusiasts. We conducted a Field Stress Test at a busy downtown intersection and discovered that while B/T intercom devices were only able to maintain a stable connection up to 0.3mi(500m), our HEADTOOTH Pro was able to up that to 1.2mi(2km).
The FREE LICENSE frequency that is available in each established country allowed us to create a commssystem that lets people to hop in or out of group calls without having to go through a pairing process. As long as the channels between each user are the same, group communication is possible for an unlimited number of users within the given range. If someone from your group happens to roam outside of the range, they can simply pop in back into the group automatically when they do enter the given range.

Different helmet types require different types of mics which is why two mics are included with a single HEADTOOTH Pro. Select and attach the appropriate mic that fits your helmet.Attach the remote control to your bike handle, ski pole, wrist, bag strap, or any other accessory with the included Velcro band. Now you can customize the placement of the remote to control the HEADTOOTH Pro the way you want to.
The remote controller showcases a simple and intuitive design that makes device control an absolute breeze.Pair the HEADTOOTH Pro with your phone and speak into the mic to get started with any voice recognition assistant like Siri, Google Assistant, Bixby and other Voice assistant service! This gives you even a greater level of safety while still being able to control your phone.
While the HEADTOOTH Pro features the MUC system, it also supports the widely used B/T intercom system. This means that you can still hold group calls with people who use other helmet communication devices as long as the same settings are selected.
Some devices may not support B/T intercom connection with third-party products.
Since the MUC system was designed based on the walkie-talkie’s PTT technology, communication with other walkie-talkie like devices is also possible. Communicate easily with HEADTOOTH Pro in designated areas where radio is required.The HEADTOOTH Pro which also operates similarly to push-to-talk (PTT) functions makes it compatible with commercially available PPT apps as well! If you remove the main HEADTOOTH Pro unit, it can be used as a portable Vibration speaker so that you can enjoy your music anytime, anywhere.We’ve also developed an app that will allow users to conveniently operate the HEADTOOTH Pro and control all of the device functions such as the MUC comms system, B/T Intercom comms, sound equalizer settings, vibration woofer on/off functions, and switching between radio frequencies.

Product design is typically biased towards engineering efficiency which makes it difficult at times to satisfy the needs of the user. To overcome this, we collaborated with a product design company to come up with a beautiful design that also highlights engineering efficiency and a user intuitive interface.
Since then, we’ve continued to discover how we can make the HEADTOOTH Pro more easy and fun to use so that each user can enjoy the absolute best audio quality. Through different rounds of adjustments, we’ve at times almost started again from scratch.
