Our 3D-printed hand hooks for your home are produced for durability and can be used variously: Be it as a coat hook, a bottle holder, for your instrument, as a design gimmick or simply as a visual statement! The idea for our product HANDSOME is easy to explain: We wanted to produce individual wall mounts that visually stand out from standard products on the market! Our goal is to produce practical and unusual holders that have many uses.
Because we use 3D-printing technologies, we can offer you 11 different colors for each of the 22 models. Since each HANDSOME model is offered by us as a left or right hand, this results in a total of 484 different hands that we can produce directly on customer demand in our own printing farm All models could be produced for you in your favourite color. From a dark black to shiny gold colored hands and even noctilucent filament out of phosphorescent material which will glow in the dark.
No matter whether you want to use them as a purely aesthetic means in interiors, for the product presentation in your store (e.g. wine store, jewelry store, record store, bookshop, flower shop), or only as a fancy coat hook: The models are eye-catchers in any case HANDSOME - and the numerous models of wall mounts - allow a huge variety of items to be held, presented or carried.

Be it as a design gimmick in your home, to present goods in the store window or in the interior of your store – or simply as an everyday object.Note: Of course, we can also produce each of the hands as a left-handed version for you! After the campaign ends you will be able to select your hand design, color and to choose between a left- or right-handed version.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
OF 3D-PRINTING + With 3D-printing we can produce various shapes out of many different materials.Thin layers (0.3mm height) are clearly noticeable . Also seams where the nozzle must settle to print a new layer are visble.The PLA that we use for 3D printing is largely made from organic, renewable resouces.
PLA is relatively hard but not as break-proof as the comon oil based plastics such as polypropylene or ABS. PLA is also quite sensitive to heat. It can already be deformed at 80 degrees with slight force. Direct sunlight and proximity to radiators or even firesources should always be avoided.
3D-printing technology allows intelligent distribution of material inside the object. Just like the structure inside our bones, which makes them so lightwaight but strong. Traditional production methods like injection moulding for instance, cannot easily ensure this.
The sophisticated design and production method based on a honeycomb structure gives the hand hooks additional strength. The honeycomb structure of the hands ensures that the hand hooks provide a secure grip even under greater loads. In a load test, for example, the hand model "The Claw" easily carried the weight of a dumbbell (9 kilograms) without breaking.
