At Popsmith, we think that popcorn is more than just a snack—it’s a way to celebrate and connect. The best way to enjoy this classic snack has always been popping up a batch fresh on the stove.
But the current stovetop popping experience leaves a lot to be desired. It can be intimidating– even professional chefs worry about burning their popcorn or getting the ratio of butter to oil just right. We wanted to design a popper that made the perfect bowl of popcorn every time, no matter your level of experience.
The Popsmith Popper uses an old-fashioned popping technique (just like movie-theater machines use) to achieve the perfect pop. It begins with our patented spinner that tumbles the kernels in oil for consistent results.
Our industrial design team made sure that The Popsmith Popper was fun to use and delivered the best results. The stainless steel body and multi-layered metal bottom ensure even heat distribution so you don't have to worry about burnt batches or unpopped kernels going to waste.
The Popsmith Popper’s 6-Quart Kettle makes enough for 4 people to enjoy–it’s perfect for your next movie night, game night or family event. Whether you’re settling in for a cozy evening for two or hosting a big party, you can make the perfect amount of popcorn for that perfect night in.
If you tried to make kettle corn in any other home popper, you’d end up with an inedible mess, But with The Popsmith Popper and our Sweet Kettle Corn Kit, you can enjoy perfectly sweet & salty kettle corn at home, just like what you’d enjoy at your local county fair or farmer’s market.
We sourced the best kernels, 100% pure coconut oil, and seasoning, then packaged them in the right ratio to make the best bowl of popcorn you’ve ever tasted. Each kit contains five servings, and each serving is enough for up to four people, Set your Popsmith Popper over medium heat and preheat for 1-2 minutes. Then add in corn, salt and oil, or simply use a Popsmith Pre-Measured Pack.
Remove the lid. This is your chance to add some mix-ins and give it a few extra turns to mix, Pour your masterpiece into a bowl. Give it a minute to release steam and get crispy. We put the Popsmith Popper through hundreds of hours of testing to ensure that it delivers on our promise: bringing you the perfect bowl of popcorn every time, in under five minutes, Popsmith was created by two seasoned entrepreneurs–Tal Moore and Dave Stickland–who have decades of experience developing consumer goods and bringing them to market.
They currently own and operate a brand called Franklin's Popcorn which sells movie theater popcorn poppers and popcorn supplies.
