The Only Eco-Luxury Screen Glasses Handcrafted from Bali
A fusion of traditional Bali craftsmanship, authentic carved wood, and the ultimate technology in screen lenses.
Bali, Indonesia -- The team at Ondray handcrafted their eco-luxury screen glasses from Bali. Their campaign will be live on Kickstarter on 12th February 2021.
Based in Bali, they wanted to tie in the Bali vibes into their product design so that people will remember that Ondray is an eco-luxurious screen glasses handcrafted traditionally with authentic woods from Bali.
Most glasses in the market today are made out of plastic materials; the team at Ondray wants to change that.
They want to contribute to the potential climate crisis that is predicted just around the corner, which is why they’re not using all-plastic materials for their product.
Ondray screen glasses are a fusion of traditional Bali craftsmanship, authentic carved wood & the ultimate technology in modern lenses, a polycarbonate UV400 lens, which blocks out harmful rays from the digital screen. Aside from their UV400 lens, Ondray comes with an easy-to-install, custom-made, stainless clip-on polarized lens, which is included for free for their early bird offer.
They have teamed up with an expert Balinese woodcarver, Komang, who has mastered the craft ever since he was just a teenager to carve woods inspired by the beauty, the traditions, and the nature of the Balinese people.
Not only are the frames created with eco-friendly materials, but Ondray glasses are also elegantly designed. Each of their structures and their quality woods are finely-textured, making it hypo-allergenic so that it won’t cause any irritation to the skin, unlike plastic materials. The ideas behind each frame’s name are based on Bali’s famous places, such as Canggu, Penida, and Ubud.
