Tree Knit Upper
A single layer fl yknit upper is made of tree fi bers spun into fi ne yarn. This breathable, quick-drying, odor-resistant and soft material is comfortable to the touch and keeps feet sweat-free. Flyknit production removes the need for glue, allowing the natural materials to perform at their best.
Tree Knit Pattern
A custom tree knit pattern creates elastic zones to provide lateral stretch for the feet and security for vertical movement. This pattern hugs the feet in all the right ways creating an irritation-free fi t.
AirSip Mesh
The tree fi ber is integrated with AirSip mesh to maximize airfl ow. The AirSip mesh incorporates bigger holes near the sole to make the shoes more breathable from the bottom up.
Castor Bean Insole
LONO shoes replace petroleum with castor bean oil in the production of the insole. This ensures the foam stays tacky and responsive without harming the environment.
Algae Outsole
LONO shoes have a popcorn outsole created from BLOOM algae. This creates a unique performance foam that provides stability, bounce and durability for any terrain.
Bamboo Jersey
LONO shoes are lined with bamboo to ensure the shoes are irritation-free. The heel lining features extra padding to limit movement and rubbing that causes blisters in other shoes.
SOLESOCK
No more dirty insoles. Go sockless, but cover your sole with SOLESOCK, a cotton, washable, changeable cover for the LONO insole.
ELASTLET
ELASTLETS replace the top eyelet of LONOs to provide stretch for sliding shoes on and off - even with the laces tied.
