After running the successful purME campaign on Indiegogo and delivering thousands of
masks to their owners, they were inspired by their communityʼs feedback and ideas, and introduced an improved version of the facepiece, purME Air.

This powered mask — which was 100% funded in only 2 hours on Indiegogo — uses patent-pending constant pressure technology to draw exactly the same amount of filtered air in and out through twin turbines. This way it not only prevents leakage of unfiltered air from overpressure — one of the common downsides of many powered
masks — but also ensures effortless breathing by providing a constant supply of clean fresh air.
To adjust the amount of airflow to your needs, the mask offers 3 power levels operating under 50dB, which makes it perfect for use whether indoors, in the street or while working out in a gym.
“The idea ofthe fans for better airflow was brought to us by our backers during the original purME campaign.We embraced it but were still on a lookout forthe right technology,” says David, creator of purME.
“The breakthrough happened when we came across a prototype mini air purifier, which was not only pocket-sized and light, but also very quiet and powerful enough to purify the surrounding air.We quickly acquired the technology and the first purME Air was born.”
To ensure your mask is always clean and safe to wear, purME also features a built-in UV-C unit, which allows you to fully sterilize it in under 5 minutes, before or after wearing. With purME Air, self- sterilization is not only fast but also absolutely safe: To prevent your eyes and skin from UV exposure, purME Air features a safety switch to ensure UV light turns on or off only when you manually press the power. Simply push the switch button once you take off your mask and the UV-C unit will remove over 95% of all bacteria, germs, viruses or microorganisms on its inside in under 5 minutes. You can then turn it off and wear your sterilized mask safely for the rest of the day.
Whatʼs more, purME Air is also designed to provide modular protection for all your needs. With its 3 protection levels—basic protection with FFP1 filter, higher protection with KN95 filter andm maximum protection with P100 filter—it can indeed replace all your existing masks once and for all. In fact, its HEPA filters are certified by third-party SGS lab to FFP1 and KN95 standards, both for airflow and filtration of over 95% of bacteria, viruses, germs and other microorganisms down to 0.3 microns.
And last but not least, with purME Air you get full day protection:mPowered by a rechargeable battery stored inside, it offers 6-8 hours of operation, which is more than enough to protect you for the whole day.
Design
Retaining excellent protection, purME Air offers unrivaled comfort to its users. “When designing purME Air we set a goal to create a mask that would allow you to get maximum protection without sacrificing your comfort. Seems like now this is a reality,” David notes.
Its silicone facepiece seals tightly against your nose, minimizing air leakage and saving your glasses from fogging up. Being firm yet supple, it will never leave marks on your face either.
The mask also saves your ears from pressure: with its over-head dynamic straps, you can easily adjust the mask to your head and keep it in place even during intense workouts.
Both the silicone facepiece and the straps can be easily removed and washed in a washing machine to keep you always safe.
Besides, weighing at just 80g, purME Air is one of the lightest powered twin-turbine masks, which gives you the almost no-mask feel wherever you are.
